INVITATION FOR PUBLIC COMMENT ON THE REAPPOINTMENT OF FEDERAL PUBLIC DEFENDER FIDEL CASSINO-DUCLOUX

The current term of office of Fidel Cassino-DuCloux, Federal Public Defender for the District of Oregon, expires in June 2027. The United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit is considering the reappointment of Mr. Cassino-DuCloux to an additional four-year term and invites public comments from the public and legal community about the performance of Mr. Cassino-DuCloux and his respective staff.

Anonymous responses will not be considered. However, all information provided to the Court will be held in strict confidence, and the identity of any person providing information will not be disclosed unless that person waives confidentiality and consents to disclosure.
