It is with sadness we note the death of Chief U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Theodor C. Albert of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of California. Judge Albert served the district for 24 years and as its chief since January 2022.

Judge Albert served on the Central District Bankruptcy Court’s Rules Committee and Executive Committee, and was a member of the Ninth Circuit’s Conference of Chief Bankruptcy Judges.
