A public servant of the highest order, Judge Unpingco’s career is hallmarked by his exceptional service to Guam. His legal acumen and experience as a trial attorney and international law practitioner with the U.S. Armed Forces earned him a nomination in 1992 as judge for the District Court of Guam, where he faithfully served for over 12 years.

Judge Unpingco was nominated to be a district judge for the District Court of Guam by President George H.W. Bush. He was confirmed by the U.S. Senate on Sep. 24, 1992, and received his judicial commission on Oct. 9, 1992.
