While visiting Portland Thursday (April 4, 2013), Chief Justice John G. Roberts, Jr., of the Supreme Court of the United States, made a stop at the Pioneer Courthouse, home to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Chief Justice Roberts toured the historic building, above, with Circuit Judge Diarmuid F. O'Scannlain, left, and Senior Circuit Judge Edward Leavy, at right. They were later joined at lunch by Dean Robert Klonoff of the Lewis and Clark Law School.
