Minority Bar in Arizona Greets Ninth Circuit Visitor

February 29, 2012 / Ninth Circuit Public Information Office
During a recent visit to Tucson, Arizona, Chief Judge Alex Kozinski of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit spoke with members of two minority bar associations.  The February 21 event at the Evo A. DeConcini U.S. Courthouse was organized by the Los Abogados Hispanic Bar Association and the Arizona Minority Bar Association.  Judge Kozinski engaged in a conversation with Juan Rocha, an assistant Federal Public Defender and member of the Los Abogados Board of Directors, then took questions from the audience.  Topics included the Fourth Amendment to the Constitution and the loss of privacy in the digital age, and the politicizing of the judicial nomination process.
