The Magistrate Judges Executive Board communicates to the Judicial Council on behalf of the more than 120 full-time, part-time and recalled magistrate judges serving in the district courts. Magistrate judges support district judges in a variety of judicial matters with duties ranging from handling petty offenses to taking felony pleas.
