Ninth Circuit Workplace RelationsThe Office of Workplace Relations was established in January 2019 and is the first of its kind in the federal judiciary. It leads the Ninth Circuit's efforts in preventing and resolving workplace issues through the implementation of the Ninth Circuit Employment Dispute Resolution Policy and related policies, initiatives, and trainings. The office also provides support and expert advice on workplace diversity, equity, and inclusion matters.

Establishing the Office of Workplace Relations was one of the foremost recommendations of the Ninth Circuit Ad Hoc Committee on Workplace Environment, which was appointed by Chief Circuit Judge Sidney R. Thomas of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and is chaired by Circuit Judge M. Margaret McKeown. Maintaining a healthy and productive workplace for all employees will continue to be the highest priority for the Ninth Circuit.
