Airport Transportation

For arrivals and departures through the San Francisco International airport (SFO), the following transportation options are recommended:

BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit)

The SFO International Terminal connects directly with BART. Take any San Francisco-bound BART train and exit at the Civic Center station. Trains are available every 15-20 minutes; BART's QuickPlanner provides the current schedule and cost.

Taxi

Desoto (415-970-1300) and Veterans (415-552-1300) are recommended and will take a reservation for a pick up later. When departing, the Holiday Inn on 8th street is a good place to flag down a taxi. Service between SFO and the courthouse takes approximately 30 minutes, with a cost of $45.00-$55.00 each way.

Super Shuttle Service

Operates 24 hours/seven days a week. Door to door service between SFO and the courthouse. From the airport, go to the upper level (median strip or courtesy island) and look for the blue and yellow van. Price is $17 one way.

Courthouse Shuttle Service

We offer evening hotel shuttle service Monday through Thursday during court week for our visiting judges. To schedule, please call Bradley at 5-8058 and then prepare to meet the driver at the 1076 Mission Street entrance (south side, taxi/limo drop-off area) at your requested time. A white board is also located at this entrance displaying the current date, available shuttle times, and the initials of those judges who've scheduled shuttle service for that day.

In order to accommodate all judges, we ask that you keep your requested time to the two slots listed. Please schedule your request by no later than 4pm of the day you wish service. We also ask that if your plans change, that you cancel your request so that other judges are not kept waiting.
