CJA Summit Request For Proposals

The Office of the Circuit Executive for the Ninth Circuit is requesting venue proposals for sleeping rooms and meeting space for the 2019 CJA Summit. The group will be primarily lawyers, speakers and conference staff. We are seeking properties that are 4-diamond equivalent or better. The closing date for proposals is Friday, September 21, 2018.

CJA Summit Request For Proposals
The Office of the Circuit Executive for the Ninth Circuit is exploring venues for its 2019 CJA Summit. The group will be primarily lawyers, speakers and conference staff. We are seeking properties that are 4-diamond equivalent or better.

Closing date: Friday, September 21, 2018

Meeting and Function Space:
The following meeting and function space should be available for programs from 8am – 5pm on Thursday, May 2
and 8am – 12pm on Friday, May 3.

  • General session space able to accommodate 75 people in classroom seating plus staging with front projection screens.
  • Registration space near the function space.

Dates:

  • Preferred: Thursday, May 2 – Friday, May 3

Sleeping Rooms:

  • Wednesday, May 1 – 65 rooms
  • Thursday, May 2 – 50 rooms

Rate:

  • Federal government rate or best available rate

Preferred Location:

  • Portland, OR

Preferred features/services:

  • Close proximity to dining and shopping
  • Comfortable establishment, equivalent to a AAA four-diamond or better
  • Internet Access in rooms
  • Onsite dining
  • Fitness Center

Please include with your proposal:

  • Rates for the available dates
  • Any concessions
  • Banquet menus and information on service charges
  • A/V fee schedule
  • Guest wi-fi costs and information
  • Specifications on costs for internet access, both wireless and wired, in the meeting space

Notes:

  • The Office of the Circuit Executive for the Ninth Circuit is a federal government entity. GSA government rates may apply.
  • Attendees will make their own reservations and pay individually.
