Please mail payment for appeal from a BAP ruling by a check ($505.00 payable to Clerk of Court) to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, P.O. Box 193939, San Francisco, CA 94119-3939.
The fee for taking an appeal from a bankruptcy court ruling to the BAP is $298.
The BAP has issued General Order 2008-2 (effective 12/1/08) repealing interim rules formerly adopted to implement the direct appeal provisions of BAPCPA. The repealed interim rules have been superseded by new amendments to the Federal Rules of Bankruptcy Procedure (effective 12/1/08).
